We’re Hiring! Are you OKD’s next Account Executive?

OKD is seeking an Account Executive with 2-4 years’ experience who will support the Account Director and help maintain the relationship between the agency and clients by managing the development of marketing and sales campaigns and be responsible for briefing internal departments and handling client day-to-day requests with minimal supervision.

As the liaison between the client and the agency, the Account Executive must:

• have the ability to analyze and assess communications and creative recommendations against the marketing strategy

• have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

• be well-organized

• use and coordinate the resources of the creative, interactive and media departments

• juggle many tasks and take responsibility for delivering against timelines while ensuring tight deadlines are met

• display a professional looking personal appearance and persona

• be able to travel to where the client is located in order to handle the account

• have excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people, including difficult clients

Responsibilities:

Project Management/Budget Management

• oversee the status of advertising campaigns

• handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoice clients

Marketing Strategy

• work with the account director to brief media, creative and interactive staff, assist with the formulation of marketing strategies

• support marketing recommendations with rational arguments and backup

• complete competitive and industry research and analysis

• write client reports

• monitor the effectiveness of campaigns

Client Communication

• participate in client meetings, distill information, and incorporate client requirements into an agency briefing

• present, alongside agency colleagues campaign ideas and budget to the client

• act as the link between the client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively

• review and present concepts, layouts, and copies to the client for approval

• communicate the client’s feedback to all internal departments

• support marketing recommendations with rational arguments and backup, and know when to be firm and when to back down

Internal Communication

• keep management and supervisor up to date on client activities

• present campaign plans to management for approval or modification

• coordinate activities of staff engaged in creative, media and/or interactive in order to carry out approved campaign

• confer with creative, media and/or interactive to estimate costs and prepare quotes for clients

Software

• proficient in excel, ppt and word

• CMS experience on various platforms an asset i.e. WordPress
